We’re delighted that after so many delays the roof is finally being laid.  The upper level roof is complete and the lower level roof will be laid in the coming days.

The builders now have to bring a big crane on site to lift the concrete stair sections in.  After that the big hole in the upper roof will be completed with a glazed lantern that will let light into the upper level and the church windows.

The windows are in, and now the front and rear door frames are installed too.

The internal fixings will start soon.

We don’t quite know when it will be finished, but it now looks like the end of May.
