We welcome this month another team member, Sarah Knightley, who will lead our work on the Social Cafe.

Sarah has a part time post funded with us for three years, to lead the group of volunteers who are already planning the details of the Social Cafe.

This new project will provide a support service for local adults who feel isolated or ‘outside’ society, and help them find ways to engage with our community.

It is funded by the Methodist Church in London and the United Reformed Church in Yorkshire.

Sarah, who lives locally, has worked for several charities, specialising in supporting volunteers and we are thrilled to have recruited her.
