A first-ever Naming Ceremony

Cameron and Gemma asked if they could have a naming ceremony for their two children.  We were happy to do this, one sunny Sunday morning recently.  We created a set of promises, based on the work of the Church of Scotland, and for the first time the minister conducted such a service.  It was during the morning service and the family were joined by another family for the baptism of their children.  Here is a picture of the family after the service.  Mum and Dad are behind the font with their daughter, and the minister, Ian Lucraft, is on the left with their son.  It was the first time the family had worshipped at Christ Church, and we were delighted to welcome them.
