In 2012 the Minister, Ian Lucraft, drafted a ‘Church Strategy’ document to try to set out what he thought the church wanted to be and do.
Not everyone thought this was necessary, or agreed with everything within it, or the way things were expressed sometimes.
But most people felt that it did set out what our hopes for the future were, and more espcially it gave a clear statement of what we thought Ian and the Church together should be working on.
This year we had a look back to review progress. Some things had been achieved; some were in progress, and it was clearer in some cases what the future might begin to look like.
So it has provided a solid basis for Ian’s work and for our plans for the future.
