Finally, after all the heartache and hard work by so many people in planning, fund-raising, practical preparations, it has started!

The subcontractors moved in on Monday morning and they expect to clear the old hall by Wednesday.  Then the same sub-contractors will move on to lower the ground levels, and prepare the foundations and the under-pinning.

The Site Foreman, Steve, has helpfully moved the bench outside the wire fence, so that anyone who wants to sit and watch the work can do so safely.

We have to remind EVERYONE that no-one is allowed on site without prior agreement of the Site Forman, and wearing the correct protective clothing.  Please help by not upsetting them!
