Carry on Cruising – The Musical

In September Christ Church staged one of its biennial musical productions. Over 50 members of the church from age 7 to 87 joined together to have some fun and stage this production.

Written and directed by Simon Utting, it followed the escapades of a rag tag group of people on a “singles cruise” around the Americas. Needless to say there was a lot of silliness and a lot of stomping good songs.

A Christmas Carol – The Musical

In December Steel Valley Beacon Arts and Christ Church staged their joint production of the musical version of Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol. A cast of 80 supported by many others backstage and behind the scenes joined to bring together a very successful and well received production over 5 performances.

Christ Church was transformed in Cafe Rene in Nouvion, France for the hilarious stage version of the hit TV series.
