As we are in the final year of Ian’s ministry with us, whilst we feel sad about this, we still need to look to the future. Within the Pastorate, Ian will have left an amazing legacy and given us an incredibly firm foundation, to continue with our mission in our churches and local community.
Our Pastorate is made up of five churches,
Christ Church Stocksbridge, a United Reformed/Methodist LEP
Stocksbridge Christian Centre, a Methodist/Anglican LEP
Brightholmlee Methodist Church
Crane Moor Methodist Church
Green Moor Methodist Church.
The churches in Stocksbridge and district have always tried to work together through Churches Together in Stocksbridge & District across the denominations, but the creation of this pastorate gives these five churches the chance to work more closely together, not only for the benefit of the individual congregations/church families, but also equally importantly, the whole community within this area of North Sheffield.
