Christ Church are delighted to provide a home for Steel Valley Beacon Arts (SVBA)
SVBA are a registered Charity and CIC, regulated by The Charity Commissioners and Companies House. It is led by a committee of volunteer Trustees.
SVBA meet at Christ Church every Tuesday and Friday evening. The Under 11 group meet on Fridays at 6pm, The Youth Group (12 -16 years) meet on Tuesdays at 6pm and the Adult Group from 7pm – 9pm Tuesday and Fridays. The group stage multiple performances per year, directed by professional Director Mandy Aitken. She is supported by Dan Timmins as Musical Director on musical productions and a host of enthusiastic volunteers. Technical support is led by David Robinson, who is a professional theatre technician. Productions at Christ Church are supported by a flexible staging area equipped with the latest in theatre lighting and sound equipment.
