Community

An important part of  the mission of Christ Church is to engage with community groups in the Valley, that want to work with us, using our buildings, or to use the buildings for their own activities.

CHRIST CHURCH GROUPS

The Meeting Place – A social cafe meeting on Monday mornings

Christ Church WhatsApp Group – This is a busy space where members of the congregation and church community can share fellowship. A reading, devotion and prayer is posted every day courtesy of the United Reformed Church, a hymn from Singing the faith for us to read and an evening prayer courtesy of The Methodist Church. People share their joys and concerns and support each other in their everyday lives. Its often funny, sometimes serious but it adds greatly to the fellowship at Christ Church. If you would like to join the group, please message Ian Lucraft, our minister, to add your number.

The Lunch Club – Meets every Thursday starting with Tea/Coffee and biscuits at 10:30, then a two course cooked lunch at 12:30.

The Choir – meets every Wednesday evening at 7pm

Busy Little Hands – Baby and Toddler Group that meets every Friday morning in school termtime.
