The congregation were thrilled to welcome eight new members on Pentecost Sunday.

Here is a picture of them, showing Jean, Jan, Emma, Dot, William, Rachel and Chris.  (Heather was away.)

They are a rich mixture of people who had grown up in the church, or joined us on moving here, or been part of the church for a long time and made the decision, or local people who had taken the step of joining us.

It was a moving service, and the new members were welcomed by John Cornell, chair of the Leadership Team, on behalf of the church, and presented with a bible by Ronnie Hawley, the Pastoral Groups leader.
